The PCP is a follow-up programme to the PPP. It is being implemented by the DNPWC with UNDP assistance for a period of two years (May 2002-April 2004). The Programme can be termed as a consolidation phase where focus will be on institutionalizing the achievements and successes of the PPP, particularly the community mobilization process. The PCP is covering seven protected areas, including Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, Parsa Wildlife Reserve, Royal Chitwan National Park, Royal Bardia National Park, Royal Suklapahanta Wildlife Rerserve, Rara National Park and Khaptad National Park.
