Prohibited activities in National parks and wildlife reserves include;

  • hunting or damaging any animal
  • building or occupying any form of shelter or house
  • occupying, clearing or cultivating land
  • grazing or watering any domestic animals
  • damaging felling or removing any tree or other plant
  • mining, quarrying or removing stone, minerals or earth
  • carrying or using any weapon, ammunition or poison
  • carrying any domestic or other animal or trophy, except by a government official on duty or by a person traveling along an existing right of way
  • blocking or diverting any river, stream or other sources of water flowing into a national park or introducing any harmful or poisonous substance therein
  • damaging or removing any boundary marks, signposts or notices
