Sher B. Khatii, 42 years, Basamadi-3 Leout was arrested from the dam near Rapti  River of Gaida Ghat on 2067/2/21 early morning 04:30 AM. He was focusing his motorbike light towards Park and waiting to pick up another poacher coming from the Park. The arrest was possible due to the information from the informer and Khatii was found to be involved in the rhino horn trade. Khatii was arrested with motorbike and is being invest gated further.
Based on the information provided by Khati , his brother- in- law Ram Saran B.K. was arrested along with his car from Gaushala Kathmandu with the support from police of Central Invest gat on Bureau. Further investigation led to the arrest of Chhiring Palden Lama, Simikot-8, from Jorpati  Kathmandu along with 12 pieces of rhino hoos. Two more culprits, Om Nath Niroula, 40 years, and Surya Biswokarma, 38 years, from Bagbana-9 ,Parsa were arrested for their alleged involvement in the rhino horn trade with Ram S. B. K. The arrest was made from the information provided by Ram S. and one local gun was also recovered from the house of Surya Biswokarma. All three, B.K, Niroula and Biswokarma, are under going further investigation.

Debendra K. Lama, Padampokhari -7, Anit K.Gole,Churiamai-7, Ram B. Blon, Bhaise-6, Prem B. Khadka, Basamadi-1, Makwanpur district were arrested on Churiamai-1 Utarpani with one skin  and 8.8 kg of tiger bone from Chitwan NP. After preliminary invest gat on, they were handed over to Parsa Wildlife Reserve for further investigation.

Santa B. Praja, 35 years, Khaireni-1, Chitwan was arrested for rhino killing and horn trade and was sent to imprisonment after investigation.
Bikram Mahato, Pithouli-6 and Chetra B. Gurung, 36 years, Pithouli-2 were arrested with timber on bullcart while transporting from Chitwan NP. They are under investigation from the Park. Fourteen people including Madhu Sapkota, Gitanagar-1, Ujjwalnagar, Chitwan were arrested for cutting grass in the area of gharial egg laying at the edge of Rapti near Belsar post on 2067/12/18. They were released after penalty.

Harkit Chaudhary, Pipra-4, Saptari with two others were arrested by the joint team of Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve with local gun. Four others were fled and investigation is in progress for these culprits. The joint team has found 212 buffaloes and two cows grazing in the reserve.

The Joint team of Khaptad National Park has arrested Rajan Thapa, 29 years Patadewal-3 and Yagya R.Thapa, 18 years, Patadewal-3, Bajhang on 2068/1/20 in Khaligada area with one local gun and four bullets. They had entered Park to hunt wild boar and once sound of the gun fire had heard from that area.
